Mazified was created and is 100% owned by Serofyte / Serofyte Studios, a youtuber and one man dev team.
There are absolutely zero visuals / sounds / text / music made by AI in Mazified (and on this website), and the majority of the code (including major architectural decisions) was written directly by me. I used Claude Code for debugging and autocomplete, which saved hundreds of hours on this project 🙏.
I am fundamentally against the concept of DRM in software (and anything else), and as such, Mazified does not have any form of DRM. You should be able to do whatever you want with a game you buy.
A few Steam features can be obtained in the free version by following the hint in SteamMode.mzset. I won't say much more than this, figure the rest out yourself if you want to be a freeloader :)
A message to companies that use DRM in their games: DRM doesn't do jack shit to stop pirates (your game will be available on every torrent site within days of release, this is just a fact no matter how much DRM you use), and just makes the experience worse for players that actually pay for your game. More games should be DRM-less.
